POLICE OFFICER WHO SHOT MAN SHE ASSUMED WAS IN HER APARTMENT IS NOW ON TRIAL

Cop who shot a black man she assumed had broken into her apartment has now started trial this past week.  When officer Gyger came home to find a man in her home  she shot him. Come to find out that the Apartment was not her apartment after all and that man died. Ex-cop Amber Guyger trial has officially began this week and a lot of things just aren’t adding up. Court officially are playing the case with a number of facts. 1- Mrs. Gyger stays on the 3rd floor and Botham Jean the man she shot in his own apartment lived on the 4th floor. 2- How did this officer even get into his apartment when she didn’t not have the right key. Now the defense is arguing that she was tired from a 12-15 hour shift and was not thinking straight. But prosecutors says she was sexting a coworker around the time of the incident so how was it she was too tired but trying to call on a booty call.
