NAACP SUES THE TRUMP ADMINISTRATION

• The NAACP is sueing homeland security because of the trump administrations decision to remove deportation protection from thousands of Haitians living in the United states. If you guys remember back in 2010 there was a huge earthquake and 46,000 Haitians came to the united states and were granted a temporary protected status known as TPS.  It helps protect foreigners who are in distress due to environmental disasters or unsafe war conditions. Now Tumps administration is saying that this order will no longer being in place for the Haitians after 2019. The NAACP is arguing that Haiti is still unfit for the Haitians to return specifically because of the Cholera outbreak and their 2016 hurricane. Also stating that the only reason the removal of the Haitians is in place is because of the “ intent to discriminate on the basis of race and /or ethnicity.
